A recent friendly charity game (2002)
This very active and successful 'Lawn Bowls' club was founded in 1912 and for 14 years played within the walls of Pickering Castle. After a period on a green on land at the corner of Ruffa Lane and Kirkham Lane the Club moved, in 1949, to its present home at Mill Lane, Pickering where it shares its facilities with the Cricket and Football Clubs.
The green is one of the best in the district and frequently used for 'representative' matches.
The Club has had many past and present team and individual successes and new members at any level from absolute beginner to experienced player will be given a warm and friendly welcome. The Secretary will be pleased to provide further details.
